A princess cursed to gather one hundred proposals in three years’ time or die. A young Snakeling sorcerer waiting patiently for her to fail. A kingdom depending on the princess’ decision. Will the game of love and hate end with death, and a kingdom defeated? Or will love defeat pride in a spectacular climax of intrigues unfolding in between silk sheets, steamy bathing chambers, and blooming gardens? Wait a minute… A princess? A sorcerer? A kingdom? All of this sounds extremely cliché, cheesy, and boring , you might think, my lovely reader. Just a generic medieval-ish romantasy , you might conclude. Exactly! You are correct, my unknown friend. That’s exactly the point – this story started off as a parody of a romantasy, a humorous take on the genre. BUT. As I wrote, I put way too much heart in this story. It became dear to me, in all its silliness, sassiness, and heartfelt romantic moments. I love this story. I love these characters. They made me laugh. They made me scream. (They made the editor of this story laugh and scream as well!). And in the end, they made me cry because I will miss this story. So, let’s test if you’re right, dear reader!
