This book and series will chronicle the 12 seasons of Toledo, Ohio's most iconic hockey franchise: the Toledo Goaldiggers. From October of 1974 until April of 1986, the "Diggers" provided countless hours of joy and pure entertainment for the local patrons who witnessed not only standing room only moments of colorful players, coaches and combatants, but also 4 Turner Cup Championships that brought much needed pride and popularity to a declining city. They truly showed the citizens of Northwest Ohio some amazing accomplishments, both on and off the ice. The Toledo Sports Arena was the venue, and the 70's and 80's were the time periods of reference. As such, the series of historical books will contain 3 specific seasons, broken down in a total of four volumes. Each volume will contain stats, trivia, stories and general info for each and every game played by the team that we came to know and love so well. It is The Historical Record of our Toledo Goaldiggers.
