Mary Louise Cason doesn’t believe in Prince Charming, but she does write about him for a living. As a romance author, he’s a permanent resident, at least in the literary form. In real life, however, Prince Charming doesn’t exist, and after her last attempt at love, with a fiancé who literally stood her up at the altar, she’s sworn off men entirely – until her mother sets her up on a blind date with a man who looks a lot like Superman, that is. With one well-placed curl above steel-blue eyes, all the kryptonite in the world can’t stop the stirrings of romance from blooming in her heart. Unless, of course, that kryptonite is her ex, who has not only blown back into her story, but also into the apartment next door. Old feelings are resurfacing while new feelings are bubbling to the surface, and Mary’s picture-perfect romance is quickly turning into a full-blown throuple, which just feels icky.
