In The Thin Place By the Bay , the concept of thin time emerges as a profound exploration of moments where the veil between the ordinary and the extraordinary becomes translucent. This collection of reflective essays chronicles a journey through life, highlighting significant encounters with thin places that provide solace and clarity. From the innocence of youth at age 15, where the first whispers of these ethereal experiences begin, to the wisdom of age 80, each essay captures the essence of being found by these sacred spaces. The narratives delve into the qualities of these thin places, where the mundane transforms into the miraculous, offering glimpses of peace and hope that resonate deeply in a world often overshadowed by chaos. Readers will find themselves immersed in stories that evoke a sense of belonging and understanding, as the author shares personal revelations and insights gained through years of exploration. As the timeline unfolds, the essays reflect on the evolving nature of these encounters, illustrating how they shape perspectives and foster resilience.
