Playing video games is all that LJ and Loreal wants to do, until their parents decide to make them find something more productive and beneficial to do with their time. Making the school’s basketball team becomes a goal that LJ and Loreal wants to accomplish. Although they’re not good at basketball, they’re willing to practice hard to get better – especially with their father practicing with them. Basketball allows them to spend time with their father after their parents separate. Stopping their parents from getting divorced becomes another goal that LJ and Loreal wants to accomplish.
