By the year 2260, the region formerly known as the United States of America has been fully replaced by the United World Order, a warmongering nation with the half-completed goal of global domination. Within the Order's reach, citizens are separated into Classes based on their results on a Skill Assessment, determining every aspect of their lives. Lucas Anderson comes from a Middle Class family, but a sudden Rebel attack causes his mother's job to be compromised. Jackson Jones is from a Lower Class family, where he isn't afforded a bed to sleep on or much food to eat. When surveyors for an anti-Rebel strike force known as the Elite Forces of the Council offer to hire them, they don't have much of a choice. Unfortunately for both of them, their Upper Class bully, Thomas Cook, is afforded the same offer. Though fighting for the Council seems okay at first, their first operation goes awry. Lucas chooses his morals over his orders, sending him on the run. In response, the force begins the hunt and pins him with the largest recorded bounty in the history of the UWO. Hoping he can convince his former best friend to join him, Lucas must put together a ragtag group to stand up to the Elites and challenge the Council's control. Loaded with compelling action, suspense, and a never-ending chase, this story will thrill readers and leave them emotionally moved. Jamie Hart is a midwestern American fiction author at the start of their journey who has a passion for urban fantasy and sci-fi. They have called Evansville, Indiana home their whole life, and traveled all over mainland America. They are currently studying at the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in English with a Creative Writing focus. Every day, this pathway encourages and inspires future development as a full time novelist. They are a proud member of the LGBTQ+ and identify as non-binary. Jamie loves to write intense battle sequences, action shots, and jaw-clenching tension. They have always been inspired by movies such as Star Wars and the Avengers series, even choosing Spider-Man as their favorite Avenger. Jamie also really enjoys worldbuilding, backstories, and emotional gut punches that make the reader not only feel like they're present, but like they're involved in the story. Jamie's first published book is set to release in March of 2026; a dystopian military sci-fi titled The Elite Rebellion . When they aren't writing, Jamie likes to watch action-packed TV shows, play video games, and spend time with their partner, family, and friends. They love to meet fans at vendor fairs and events, always taking the opportunity to sign a copy.
