ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Throughout the majority of my lifetime, I have been the owner of American Pitbull Terriers, in my youth, while residing on the North side of Memphis, TN, it was common to observe a Pitbull present in nearly every backyard. However, in 2008, during my relocation to North Carolina, I encountered an individual who specialized in breeding American Bullies. This encounter had a profound impact on me, leading to the American Bully capturing my affection indefinitely. At that juncture, I was a mere fifteen years of age and possessed minimal knowledge regarding this particular breed. Initially, I mistakenly assumed the American Bully to be a type of Pitbull. It was only as I matured and conducted my own thorough research on this breed that I realized the significant differences between the American Bully and the American Pitbull Terrier. It was following an increase in knowledge, together with my wife, that we made the mutual decision to commence our own kennel devoted to the propagation of American Bully puppies as an expression of our ardor for this remarkable breed.
