A strange occurrence in the sky over Alaska in 1897 is noticed only by the meager population of the region years after the purchase by the United States. Some saw it as an omen of bad fortune others chalked it up to the strange northern lights to which they had become accustomed. Its ramifications would not be realized until the modern day. The 1897 event was the seeding of aliens upon our world. Now, having greatly increased their numbers, creatures fitting the very description of the Halkomelem word sásq'ets , meaning "hairy man", have come to live upon the earth with the ultimate mission being domination and the eventual extinction of the human race. The revolution has begun and innocent human beings are being targeted just as the aliens had always intended. Will mankind survive the onslaught?
