About the Author Candice Pepe-Finn has always believed in the power of expression. Inspired by her lifelong hero Madonna, she embraces creativity and honesty in everything she writes and develops. Originally from Bayonne, New Jersey, Candice built a career in product development, where she combines imagination with practical execution—a balance that also shapes her approach to writing. Losing her father as a child shaped her perspective on life—reminding her daily of both its fragility and its beauty. That reflection shows up in her work, where she hopes to offer encouragement and connection to others navigating their own journeys. Some of her best ideas come while riding trains, gazing out the window at graffiti, buildings, and the things people leave behind. ROADS is her first self-published book, written for her children so they will always carry her wisdom with them, even long after she is no longer here to give it to them.
