This book is based on our experience in teaching Greek as a foreign language and is addressed to everyone at the beginner level in Greek. The book is carefully designed to help any English speaker learn Greek by reading a fictional story. The story is written in such a way that every beginner can understand the general meaning of each chapter, while enriching their vocabulary. Each chapter also introduces a new grammatical term in a way that keeps the flow of the story as natural as possible. At the end of all chapters there is an English translation of the entire story, so that the reader can find all the unknown words and meanings. This fictional story is about a Greek family that decided to move in Germany. When the father is offered a job in Berlin, at the Greek school in the city, he will think about it seriously and will talk to his wife and daughters about it. After deciding that it is a good opportunity for a new adventure in a new country, the family moves to Germany. What will it be like there? Will they like their new life? Or will they feel homesick? Or both?
