I also have this author's first book, which the kids also loved. It is nice to have some new book choices that are not the same old characters. Walter is an entertaining little frog! “My Preschool class loves these books!” I own a childcare/learning center and my Preschool teacher read this to her class and the kids were roaring with laughter at Walter the frog!! They especially liked the illustrations of him pouting and hiding in the Mom’s hair. 😂😂 Some of parents of the group caught wind that this is another Walter The Frog adventure book and couldn’t wait to purchase for their little one as well, since they all LOVED “A Frog Ate My Sandwich”! Thank you for another cute children’s story ♥️♥️♥️Forever Young Childcare Center Preschool class. “Walter is a family favorite!” We were so excited to see that Walter has a brand new adventure! This book is a great read for kids! It’s easy to follow along and the illustrations are so engaging! It’s hard to beat A Frog Ate My Sandwich but this book is a home run! “My daughter really enjoyed it!” My 4-year old daughter loves reading through this book with me! It's a little advanced for her to try to read on her own at this point, but the illustrations and characters' facial expressions are well done and makes it easy for her to follow along. “ Spending time together ” I loved the humor, imagination and incredible art in this book. I recommend it to anyone who spends time with a child reading and laughing. "Great Choice!" As an SLP in the public schools, I try to find well-illustrated kids books for my reading groups and this was a great choice! The kids loved it and wanted extra time to look at all of the pictures. They have already requested this book again, but I have a surprise... the next book from this great author.
