Short-Circuit Protection: Under normal use, an instantaneous short circuit between the positive and negative terminals of the output will not damage the power converter.

(Note: This protection applies to all buck products, buck-boost products, and isolated product series; boost product series do not include this protection.)

Input Reverse Polarity Protection: Reversing the positive and negative terminals of the input will not damage the power converter.
