My mother’s life was a testament to the power of prayer. Long before the world began to stir, she would rise, not to cook or clean, but to pray. Behind the closed door of her room, the whispers of her communion with God would drift through the house, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. She believed prayer was not just a Sunday ritual or reserved for times of desperation, but a daily necessity—spiritual nourishment as essential as food. “Prayer is like food for your soul,” she would say. Through watching her, I learned that prayer isn’t merely asking for things—it’s fellowship with God, seeking His presence, wisdom, and peace. Her devotion was a constant reminder that nothing in life is too small for God’s attention and nothing too big for His power. As a writer, I’ve carried this lesson with me, seeking God’s guidance in my work and life. Her example taught me the importance of consistency in prayer. To build a strong prayer life, we must start our day with God, be honest in our prayers, and make it a habit. Just as my mother did, I strive to begin each day in communion with God.
