But Cara soon learns the President has much greater long-range plans for her, as the continent of Europe is trying to reunite. Cara soon meets some new friends who will help her with her international career. She finds living with her mentor host and hostess at Smyth Manor to be pleasant; she enjoys good food and music, and can swim in the sea. Cara gets guidance and assistance from her hostess that will help fulfill her greatest dream. As usual, Cara gets to face new challenges; medical and personal, where we get to see her resilience, determination and bravery. We also get to see a new side to our lovable heroine, a humorous and playful quirkiness, and a desire for love and passion and an appreciation of Mother Nature and ancient rituals. Can Cara succeed in convincing the Smyth-Penningtons to return with her? Can she meet the President's other hopes for her as a foreign relations liaison?
