Her passion for environmentalism began in Geneva State Park, spending summers and weekends with family on the beaches and trails. From the old cedar cabins, to the additions of the Marina and The Lodge, her love for nature began at "Ohio's First Summer Resort" at Geneva on the Lake. A writer her entire life, she captured many of her memories in poetry, short stories,childrens books, and several novels set to print. "Manatee of the Sea" is the first in a series of children's books. "Dolphin Tale" follows in these sea life stories and lessons, with more in production.
