A Poet’s Black History
I wrote this poetry book in the month of February for Black History month. I love to learn about my people, their struggles and what they have been through that made it possible for us to be where we are today. I wanted to do something to be a part of Black History in a positive way. So I had to write this. I know when I die these words will live on. I wrote poetry about my Black history and the Black History of our people. I feel like I did a good job, I certainly did my best, but I’ll let you be the judge of my work of art.
