She graduated from the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Learning Disorders at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She is passionate about creating a means for laughter and learning to coexist. Becoming a published children's book author was a lifetime dream fulfilled after twenty years in the field of education.
