HOMES THAT TRANSFORM THE WORLD: VOLUME 14

We remind you that you should prepare as a teacher to share the lesson; needless to say, you should be well ac- quainted with what you are transmitting to the group. In this section of “Dynamic for each lesson". we will only recommend six basic things before each lesson since we understand that the small group leaders are associated with the group they are leading. 1. Begin with prayer. We suggest that you form a circle and pray briefl y before starting. 2. Present the members. This can be done by having ever- yone say their name in a rotating manner, especially if there are new people. 3. Praise. If possible, begin with some revival songs and end with a worship song. 4. One or two short testimonies. This could impact someo- ne’s life, whether they’re a church member or a suppor- ter. 5. Icebreaker. At the beginning of each lesson, you will VOLUME 14 find a question encouraging dialogue between the group members and breaking the ice between the participants. This question or reflection at the beginning will allow free expression and the identification of the spokespeople, whatever the case may be. 6. Scriptures. It is important that you share with the group the Bible scriptures that you have considered in your Bible lesson, especially with your assistant or other members who want to participate. Remember that the listeners' participation will allow them to feel like they are part of the meeting. If you follow these basic steps, I assure you that you will enjoy and teach a good lesson. I pray that God will give you the necessary grace and wisdom to edify the body of Christ.
