As Jack's new assistant, Stephanie was tasked with following the crew members to understand their roles and the expectations for each of them. When Jack was taken to the hospital with the same symptoms as the director, Stephanie found it curious that both a director and a producer had fallen ill within months of one another. Stephanie vowed to uncover this mystery and reveal the truth. Devil's News by Isabel Wells was exhilarating and filled with action. I was captivated from the very beginning. With the sudden heart attacks and Stephanie's abduction, I was always kept guessing. I sat on the edge of my seat, nervously biting my nails, as the suspense sometimes felt overwhelming. I had difficulty setting the book aside and flipped through the pages as quickly as possible. The characters felt genuine and relatable. Most of the crew members resembled a family and supported one another. The writing was exceptionally done, encompassing all the elements of a thriller. The conclusion was truly astonishing. I did not see it coming at all, and it completely took me by surprise.
