They say a little water never hurt anyone, right? Lucas Harrison, spirit caretaker, learns just how wrong that saying is when his apartment leaks from nowhere. It’s a mystery until he realizes that the undine—a water elemental he captured several months ago—is missing. And now both the Spirit Realm and the Living Realm are underwater. Pursued by a strange special agent from the Paranormal Investigations Department, Lucas must deal with being ousted from his home, finding the undine, and avoiding a very angry Grim Reaper. Forging an unlikely partnership with the special agent and a witch, Lucas seeks out the undine, hoping to put a stop to the flooding. And he thinks he’ll succeed, unless the Authority of the Dead has anything to say about it.
