Sometimes being caught in a blizzard… Can be murder. After spending Christmas with her adoptive mother, dog-mom and amateur sleuth, Eve, is glad to be back home in Granite. She’s ready to get back to her normal life and is committed to following her New Year’s resolutions. Unfortunately the best of her intentions go out the window when a blizzard causes a power outage for the whole town. She joins a search for a missing child, and while she’s out with Willow, they come across a shed that the dog refuses to approach. Eve knows finding the missing child is more important than delving into a new mystery, but once the child is located and returned perfectly healthy to her parents, Eve goes back out to the mysterious shed with Atlas and makes a gruesome discovery. The sheriff doesn’t want to open an investigation until the roads are cleared and the town has power again, but Eve decides to take matters into her own hands and tries to solve the case herself.
