For rubber-to-rubber and rubber-to-metal lubrication. Compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers. Good Mechanical stability. Resists leakage and dripping. Resistant to hydrocarbons, automotive chemicals, water washout, rubber swell. NLGI 2 to NLGI 3 consistency (medium thickness grease). 57gm (2 ounces) of 100% PURE, GENUINE, RED RUBBER GREASE, repacked in a generic durable and convenient plastic container. RED RUBBER GREASE is a specialty lubricant manufactured from castor oil (a natural vegetable oil) and a bentone thickener (micro-fine powder derived from a common mineral clay called bentonite) with a red dye added for identification, and with additives for corrosion and oxidation resistance. Red Rubber Grease replaces the product GRR(B) Grease. Red Rubber Grease meets the Lucas Girling TS-2-34-04 automotive brake specification. Red Rubber Greases are formulated especially for lubrication of rubber parts and are NOT to be used in metal-to-metal contact applications or applications involving rotating components and high contact pressure of the components, or any other applications that are not specifically indicated by the red rubber grease manufacturer.
