It contains no harmful chemicals or VOCs, and can be installed in any season, any weather — especially in below freezing temperatures or high heat. Repaired areas can be opened to traffic/use right away, with no sticking to tires or squeezing-out. Backed for a minimum of three years for your patch. *See Instructions Below: -Pour Aquaphalt from bucket into pothole or road damage. Use a shovel or rake to spread into area, leaving it about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch high for compaction. -Aquaphalt begins to activate right away when combined with water. You don't need a ton of water either, and you don't need to measure it — simply pour water over the Aquaphalt. About a 1/2 gallon of water per bucket of Aquaphalt will do the trick. -As the water begins the activation process, use a hand-tamper or plate compactor or roller to tamp down Aquaphalt into place. It begins to set-up and harden immediately. Tru Tack: Asphalt joint sealer and tack coat that will increase bond of the material to the asphalt/concrete substrate/edges and waterproof the area.
