Fifteen-year-old computer hacker, Ellis James, is forced to spend the summer with his Uncle Matty and a team of archeologists from Tulane University excavating a Maya tomb in Cahal Pech, Belize. While on the dig, Ellis discovers an ancient Maya stone with magical powers that makes him dream of the future. After his uncle is framed and arrested for a crime he did not commit in Belize, Ellis and the rest of the team return to New Orleans, where he begins to dream about a mysterious girl named Gabi, who may have plans to harm a very important and well-loved politician in Louisiana. Ellis, along with fourteen-year old, Kai Garza, set out to find Gabi and stop her evil plot. Along the way, they make new friends and uncover secrets that rock the entire town. Can Ellis and Kai survive the chase of a lifetime as they try to keep the stone away from those who hope to use its power to gain fortune beyond our wildest dreams? Can they do the unthinkable and use the stone to change the future, or will time run out on them?
