Pool Filter Parts SX180DA Sand Filter Lateral Easy to install:

Just remove the broken or old center pipe from your sand filter and install the new center pipe in its place.

Before pour in the sand to pool filter, tape the top of the pipe to prevent sand from entering and clogging the pool filter laterals.

Before inserting a new sand filter lateral, fill tank about 1/2 way full with water to provide a cushion when the sand is poured in. This will help protect the SX180DA laterals.

Make sure the pipe is centered in the opening when you pour in the sand
