This is a summary flying history of the Air National Guard at Kellogg Field, Battle Creek, Michigan. The Battle Creek Air National Guard unit’s long and storied flying career goes back to 1947 when it was assigned the P-51 Mustang. Throughout its history, the base also operationally flew the F-86F Sabre, the F-89A Scorpion, the RB-57A Canberra, the O-2A Skymaster, the A-37 Dragonfly, the A-10 Thunderbolt, the C-21 Learjet, and the MQ-9 Reaper (UAV).
