ON-THE-GO POCKETS & DISTRIBUTED WEIGHT - The pack is built with efficiency in mind, designed to ensure that you can access all core components on the go with little energy expended. The waist packs are designed with a 2/3 1/3 weight ratio creating more stability with less tension and balances the weight naturally. The lower load placement allows for a better center of gravity and efficiency on technical terrain. ULTRACOOL LIGHT MESH - This flex mono mesh remains very lightweight during long and hot endeavors. Breathable yet durable, this mesh’s build quality adds resilience to your pack without compromising weight. MAX02 SYSTEM - The Max02 System is a shock cord securing system that helps create a comfortable & natural breathing pattern while at the same time keeping the pack secure. The shock cord allows for stretch outward and 100% rebound which keeps the pack snug against your body empty or fully loaded with no restriction of movement. Fluid Capacity 2 L Reservoir Included. This pack utilizes our UltrAcool Light Mesh which provides a very breathable and lightweight feel and increases pack durability. It is lined with a soft-perimeter binding to ensure any contact with the body is comfortable over the long haul. The shoulder pocket on the Astral 5.0 is large enough to carry any size of cell phone comfortably. For storage, the Astral 5.0 is equipped with 8 pockets allowing the ability to customize your gear needs to your race or adventure.For an even better fit, the Astral 5.0 uses our MaxO2 System side compression adjustment which helps stabilize the pack empty or fully loaded and provide a more fitted feel with less heat retention. The main compartment of this vest features an expandable mesh to store larger items and can be secured down with string compression keeping the pack stable. 2 liter reservoir is included.
