Installation Important Tips:
The GB2020 steel gate frame lock box needs to be placed in a sealed bag for protection to prevent rust. Before preparing for installation, should not be removed from the bag.
After installation, ensure that the GB2020 weld lock box is brushed, sealed, and painted to prevent corrosion or rust. For example, spray painted to match the decor looks of your door.
Be sure to mount the strike latch before welding to adjust the box distance from the strike plate, or remove it before welding. Because the strike latch sits a little deep in the box and not flush.
