Jay joined with his cousin Buck to create a drug smuggling ring for the importation of marijuana from Mexico and Colombia. Jay recounts the details of four major drug smuggling operations organized by Buck and participated in by Jay and others during the Seventies and Eighties. Jay and Buck each eventually accumulated three felony drug convictions, classifying them as ‘career criminals’ and earning sentences of life without parole for Buck and twenty-five years for Jay. Jay shares his harrowing experience in prison. After his release, Jay embarked on a journey toward redemption for himself, formerly known only as Inmate 11699-077.
