Tom Miller receives an assignment from his Creative Writing teacher to compose a paper on the history of a relative. Tom’s grandfather, John Ingram, agrees to be the subject if his grandson promises to faithfully record his life experiences. As part of researching John’s past, Tom and his sister Anna gain access to a computer server at an organization headed by John. They uncover a series of hidden truths and secrets from Texas to Switzerland since the height of the Roman Empire to present day. With each revelation, the plot grows increasingly mysterious and captures the intrigue and curiosity that consume Tom and Anna. Delving deeper into their grandfather’s life, they discover that his seemingly ordinary existence is more complex and fascinating than anyone could imagine.
