The Rocky Mountain Christian was a newspaper that was in print through most of the 20th Century and into the 21st Century. The circulation covered the United States as well as many foreign countries. Associated with the church of Christ, it published a variety of articles about the Bible as well as news from around the world. Wayne Burger wrote a column for the paper called “Things Written Aforetime” from 1995 to 2006. He has been preaching since 1962. For almost 22 years, he was the preacher at the Columbine church of Christ in Colorado. He has been an instructor at the Bear Valley Bible Institute since 1991. Currently, he lives in Littleton, New Hampshire with his wife Weezie, where he is working to establish a congregation there. This anthology contains the articles he wrote from 1995 to 2000. His writing explores insights from the Old Testament, revealing their relevance to the modern-day Christian.
