Its rich coffee aroma, creamy latte color and smooth, buttery consistency appeal to the senses and provide instantaneous gratification. Coffee Bean Butter is also highly moisturizing, helps to soothe and repair irritated, red and dry skin, and it helps to protect the skin from harsh weather. Coffee Bean Butter is a good choice for inclusion in anti-aging formulations. It is rich in the polyphenol Chlorogenic Acid. Chlorogenic Acid is a powerful anti-oxidant that provides free radical scavenging properties. The phytosterol (plant sterol) content of Coffee Bean Butter also gives it anti-inflammatory action and makes it a useful addition to formulations intended to ease skin redness or swelling. Coffee Bean Butter is also a wonderful ingredient to use in lip and hair care formulations. Contemporary research has indicated that skin care products containing caffeine, a water soluble component of coffee beans, may help gradually reduce cellulite.
