Having courage isn't easy. And it almost always comes at a cost. But that is no reason to give up hope. As the Free Army begins the battle on Corlané at a terrible disadvantage, Meiary finds a surprise waiting for her on Orolé that could potentially be a great help—if she can survive long enough to retrieve it. Meanwhile, the indefatigable Ria journeys to find the sword, encountering obstacles she never could have dreamed of along the way.
