This is because the diaper if folded to fit and thus less bulky. Purity Adult Flat Cloth Diapers by LeakMaster are available in two sizes. The standard size is 36x36 inches and the X-Large size is 44x44 inches. These are prewashed sizes. The diapers will shrink about 10% with continued washing. These adult flat diapers are made with the same material as super-absorbing gauze weave 100% cotton material as infant cloth diapers. These diapers come in two thicknesses. Available in two layered or 4 layered options. Flat diapers are folded to fit the individual, fastened with diaper pins and worn beneath adult plastic pants. Flat diapers can also be used as inserts, fitting inside of other incontinence diapers, including pull-on, contoured and prefolds. LeakMaster flat diapers, especially our two layered variety, dry faster than other adult cloth diapers and can be line dried or tossed in the dryer. For best results in laundering start with a short wash cycle in cold water and the manufacturer's recommended amount of detergent. Follow that with a full cycle wash in hot water again using only the recommended amount of detergent. When using a high efficiency machine use the extra water functionality.
