15-Meter Band: There are two circles on each side close to the telescoping rod antenna. All 10 rodsegments of both telescoping rods must be extended.
10-Meter Band: All 10 rod segments of both telescoping rods must be extended. Then retract one segment of only one of the telescoping rods by about 7cm: The SWR at 29.6 Mhz should be 1:1.2.
Do not add the induction coils.
Note: The above data is based on the antenna in a V-shaped configuration. Adjustments will be different for the antenna configured at other angles between its arms.
Note: The coil taps must ALWAYS contact a single coil only!
Easy to Assemble:
a. Mount the 2 brass or chromed connectors to the center plate to the opposite ends of the center plate with the jarge black plastic head screws
b. Mount two aluminium tubes (black) to each of the two chromed connectors
c. Mount one loading coil to the ends of the chromed connectors
d. Mount one telescoping rod to the other end of each loading coil
Measuring SWR:
Make sure the antenna feeder line is completely uncoiled to obtain the most accurate SWR measurements.
