This guide is designed to equip you with information about academic requirements to compete in high school sports and to inform you about what to expect as you become a high-school student-athlete. The goal is to ensure middle school student-athletes meet academic standards that will best prepare them for success in high school. Initial eligibility determines your ability to participate in high school athletics and to compete in your freshmen year.
