Snapcaps are designed for the 4 UPPER FRONT TEETH ONLY and only work with METAL, "Twin brackets". Please confirm that your braces are a type of twin bracket by looking at the pictures. Snapcaps are NOT designed for brackets with hooks, clear brackets or self-ligating brackets. Each Snapcap covers each brace independently. These orthodontic bracket covers can be used as a wax substitute. Snapcaps can be placed on your braces at home, so you can change the look of your braces everyday! Whenever placing or removing Snapcaps, it is recommended to be leaning over a plugged sink with the upper teeth positioned over the lower lip. They are applied to the braces by simply positioning them over the front of the braces with the design facing outwards and then pushing toward the braces. They will snap into place over the outside of the braces. To remove the Snapcap, slide it sideways until it is able to be lifted off the wire. They can be placed back into the perforated case. The case makes them easy to clean, and each Snapcap has a unique safety stop feature to help keep the Snapcap centered on the bracket. The designs are fused to the Snapcap, so they cannot be removed and they are latex and BPA free. Snapcaps are non-toxic if swallowed. It is recommended that Snapcaps be removed when eating, sleeping or brushing. Snapcaps were found to be compatible with 28 out of the 30 types of braces that were tested (93%).
