In Him is where we find perfect peace and rest. About the Author: Born and raised in the City of Detroit, Tatianna Merritt discovered her passion for fashion at a young age. After graduating from Wayne State University with a degree in fashion merchandising, Tatianna worked as a commentator and an interviewer in the television industry. She later pursued a career in modeling. But Tatianna knew she was lacking something in her life. In search of what that “something” was, she often felt the urge to retreat and run, seeking change. She found this change through Christ. Her encounter with God changed her life by providing a haven and purpose, and led her to her husband, Jonathan Merritt. Pastoring alongside Jonathan at Straight Gate International Church in Detroit, MI, and serving in an administrative role within the ministry, Tatianna believes in the power of authentically representing God through our everyday lifestyles. As a content creator and influencer, Tatianna is inspirational, influential, and empowering, helping her followers recognize the importance of prioritizing their faith and themselves. She is proof that you can live the life you want with faith.
