Moments is a collection of short essays that take a philosophical look at everything, including the kitchen sink (literally). Most of these have already been published as magazine columns, newspaper op-eds, blog posts, book chapters, etc., but the author, philosopher Joel Marks, has selected a collection of his personal favorites to make them conveniently available as a book for the intellectually curious. Topics range from lying, time travel, disabilities, and death, to morality, comets, animals, and mind, among scores of others, whether mundane, topical, or cosmic.
