Jack and Irma, Soap for Aging Skin is superfatted leaving more oils and butters that hydrates. SUPERFATTED SOAP. Superfatted soap uses less lye leaving more oils and butters in the soap. The result is a super moisturizing soap. Help restore elasticity and reduce flakey cracked often found on aging skin. Aging skin is thinner, fragile and loses some it its natural fat layer. Older adults have common skin issues including dry and itchy skin. Superfat soap helps replace the oils reducing dry and itchy skin.

Jack and Irma, Soap for Aging Skin, Lilac, and Lily, is made for very dry, flakey, and sensitive skin. Our superfatted soap uses natural oils and butter to create an exceptionally moisturizing soap. Aging skin produces less natural oil. Jack and Irma soap leave more oil on your skin.

What is superfat soap? Superfatting means that less lye is used in the soapmaking process. When saponification (the chemical reaction that makes soap) is complete, because we use less lye, there is more fat from the natural oils left in the soap. That is just what aging skin needs, super moisturizing skin hydration.
