ABOUT THIS RARE, COVETED COFFEE: Saint Helena coffee has an exotic taste. The Saint Helena Islands off the coast of Africa grow a rich, delicious coffee bean. This coffee has clean, bright and beautifully balanced notes of citrus, honey, berry and stone fruits. The native Green Tipped Bourbon Arabica varietal coffee was introduced to St Helena in 1733 by its then owner, The East India Company. Many connoisseurs consider this to be the best coffee in the world. HOW IT'S PACKAGED: This coffee is packaged in a high barrier bag, equipped with a one way degassing valve, and then tucked into a luxurious satin drawstring pouch (brown satin bag shown in additional photos). This delicate bean, once roasted, is well balanced in the cup with good fruity acidity, rich black cherry notes and a pleasing chocolatey aftertaste which lingers on the palate and hints of its Yemeni origins.
