As I am getting older, I realize that I need to look more into the future and for when I retire. I have no idea about what inflation, rising interest rates, and all that stuff means. I like how the book breaks it down to where it makes more sense to me and learning about the economic history was a plus. There are graphs and charts all throughout the book that I found to be helpful to get a grasp with what the author was trying to convey. I am giving The Practical MBA on Economics: What They Do & Don't Teach You At Business School a very well deserved five plus stars. I highly recommend it for readers who are interested in economics and for those who need to understand finances better. I believe it is a perfect tool to place on my keeper shelf and have on hand for years to come. I would be interested in reading more books like this by Joseph Gulessarian in the future. MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK First of all, WOW! There is so much information chunked into this book, it will make your head spin. But you have to take it one chapter at a time. The Practical M.B.A. on Economics "What They Do & Don't Teach You At Business School" by Joseph Gulesserian is a book that would benefit everyone. If there are issues you don't care to read, there are plenty of things you will find interesting and to your liking. There are things I know a little about, such as inflation, but I was amazed at the wealth of information on inflation in this book. And it is the same with most of the topics in the book. Author Joseph Gulesserian does a very good job writing this book, and his research is phenomenal. One thing I really like is that Gulesserian not only explains the topics in writing, he also adds lots and lots of graphs to further explain what he is saying. You will also find black pages with quotes at the beginning of most chapters that you will enjoy. This is just a very light touch of what you will find in The Practical M.B.A. on Economics by Joseph Gulesserian. It is truly so indepth reading this book would probably teach you more than a good old Economics class would. If nothing else, you would have a great reference book.
