Our team isn’t just designers and engineers—we’re people who’ve felt that pain firsthand: a designer who herniated a disc from sitting at a desk for too long, a fitness enthusiast who injured their back deadlifting, a young adult who winced watching their parents struggle to bend over while doing chores. We know that helpless feeling: having to clench your teeth to carry a box of groceries, holding back from playing with your kids to avoid soreness, even stacking pillows behind your back at work—only to still feel that dull ache creep in. “Why isn’t there a back brace that supports your waist like an ‘invisible frame’ and lets you live freely?” That question drove us to spend nearly a year refining every detail. We rejected “token support” and chose large aluminum backplates + flexible steel strips, shaped to mimic the spine’s natural curve—like having a pair of gentle, steady hands holding your lower back. Whether you’re lifting heavy objects, working out, or sitting at a desk all day, it eases the pressure. We also hated how thick, non-breathable braces make you sweat, so we used breathable mesh for the outer layer—even on hot summer days, when you’re at the gym or doing yard work, you stay cool. We also fixed the old “choose by pants size” problem. We’d seen too many people buy braces that were either too loose (no support) or too tight (unbearable to wear). So EGJoey made 6 sizes, fitting waists from 25.9” to 56.6”—and we even printed a little tip on the packaging: “Measure your waist at navel level.” We didn’t want anyone to waste time on a bad fit. Some say back braces are “emergency gear,” but EGJoey wants to be your “daily companion.” It’s not just for when the pain gets bad—it’s for when you’re carrying groceries, hitting the gym, or working late.
