Great Tasting, tender mellon. Easy to Grow Great Producer--Lots of melons per Plant Better Than Anything in the Store Most Grocery Stores Don't Stock This Variety Delicious. Designed as a shipping melon, this finely netted melon has fruit that is about 3 to 5 lb. The flesh is a deep rich salmon color that is tender but firm. Melon size is a bit larger than Hale's Best Jumbo being about 4-5 lbs. Has resistance to Alternaria leaf spot, powdery mildew, and downy mildew. Seeds can be sown directly into garden when soil is warm or started in containers and transplanted when several inches tall. Zones 3-10 All seeds are packaged and for the current growing season.
