This book is the introductory text to the Redefining Recovery Program presented by 143 Ministries. It provides the reader with an understanding of how the beliefs of the subconscious mind (aka the heart) are formed, what role these beliefs play in forming our personality (it likely isn't what you think!), and how those beliefs drive our response to our emotions. People are living their lives held captive by deeply seated false beliefs about themselves, others, and God. All the while, surrendering the peace and other Kingdom inheritances Christ intended for us on Earth. Whether you've struggled with drug/alcohol addiction, codependency, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or control, this book outlines how to increase your awareness of these behaviors, drill down to the root of them, and how to address them as God designed. Through our Redefining Recovery program, we are equipping people to recognize how their lives are being driven by their emotions, defined by views formed from wrong perspectives, and where their Cross bought peace is being surrendered. Once awareness comes through the Holy Spirit, we teach those in this program how to invite God into these areas and truly allow Him to sit in His rightful place as Lord over all matters of the heart.
