It has a 12,000 rpm/opm maximum operation speed that allows quick and effective sanding and polishing. The 17 hole vacuum pattern on the interface pad allows dust extraction and minimizes sandpaper loading during sanding when it is used along with 17 hole pattern sandpaper discs and a 17 hole pattern 6" backing plate. It keeps the sanding surface clean, maximizes sanding disc performance, and prolongs disc abrasive life.
