ETHERNET CONNECTOR: This RJ-45 connector can be terminated to unshielded cables having insulated conductor diameters between 0.040 in. and 0.048 in., and having copper conductors that are 22 to 24 AWG solid. PRACTICAL DESIGN: Single piece design allows larger diameter conductors to feed-thru the end of the connector to verify conductor order. The FT-45 tool [sold separately] crimps and removes excess conductor length. CONSTRUCTION: Featuring a 50-micron gold plated contact area, the modular plug connector is UL listed. Supports 10 gigabit CAT6A installations. TERMINATION: This Feed-Thru style connector should be crimped with the 30-495 FT-45 tool for best results.
