No Roof Penetration: Affix roof pipes to support block without damaging the roof material with the use of pipe guides, clamps, tab tape, or other hardware (not included). Heavy-Duty: Unlike heavy wood blocks, these roof blocks for conduit last longer and won't damage your roof membrane. What's Included? 4 6-inch pre-cut PVC pipe stands made of 100% recycled, durable PVC. The Rooftop Sleeper Support RSS0.5 is a rooftop support block or stand that is pre-cut to 6" (152.4 mm) length. Used to support rooftop water lines, gas lines, electrical conduit, condensate lines, and other types of rooftop plumbing. Pipes can be affixed to the support block using pipe guides, clamps, tab tape and other types of user-provided hardware. Ultimate loading of the rooftop pipe support should not exceed 50 lbs. per 6" of support. Consult the roofing manufacturer for maximum allowable roof load. This rooftop pipe support is made of extruded PVC. Each unit is 6" long x 4.875" wide x 3.5" tall and is pre-cut. Space the rooftop pipe supports in accordance with local code or specification requirement for the component being support. When using as a pipe support, manufacturer recommended spacing is 10 feet on center, not to exceed max load per roofing manufacturer. Continual maintenance is not required, but semi-annual inspection is recommended to check for proper pipe stand position, pipe alignment, weight distribution and installation. Improper installation may cause pipe stand damage or failure and damage to the pipe or roof surface. These pre-cut 6" pipe supports are already the minimum length necessary to provide adequate stability and should not be cut to smaller lengths.
