The Watchman: What Do You See?

Watchmen seem like the most pessimistic of the prophets. They are oftentimes labeled as “gloom and doom”. But it is due to the Lord’s commission for watchmen to warn others of potential or oncoming danger. Their calling and purpose come with a weighty mandate from the Lord, and consequences if they fail to warn others of things to come. "The Watchman: What Do You See?" is meant to give a greater understanding of what a watchman is and what the Lord’s calls a watchman to do for His glory. Like an owl, the Lord sees what people do even in the dark. He also shows His servants, such as the watchmen, what people are doing in the dark and of things to come. The Lord takes no pleasure in the destruction of the wicked. Therefore, since the wages of sin is death, He sends His watchmen to warn of impending destruction.
