The DIY CO2 Kit provides an excellent method of deploying the citric acid / baking soda solution to generate CO2 for plants' growing in the aquarium. Easy to operate and designed for low cost planted tank use. Highlight: Much easier and safer to control. A quick reaction test tube simplifies the procedure and achieves a fast reaction. The unique design of acid absorbing ball makes it more convenient to control acid consumption. Besides, there is a simple pressure relief valve under the pressure gauge. Durable: Our tubing is highly resistant to pressure, and the tubing between the two caps is even acid- and hydrolysis-resistant. ABS engineering plastic caps with professional stable structural design ensure that they are non-deformable, anti-wear and anti-aging. Our CO2 Generator Kit includes most accessories. You only need to prepare yourself: 2 additional carbonated beverage bottles (preferably for 2L), e.g. Coke or Sprite; reaction materials: baking soda and citric acid; check valve and CO2 diffuser. * Tips: 1. The needle valve is only used to adjust the output volume, It only need to be adjusted once. Daily switching can be controlled by the white on/off valve. The reason for this is to ensures the gas output is stable. 2. DO NOT use bottles other than carbonated beverage bottles. INSTRUCTIONS:
2 x 2L Carbonated Beverage Bottles, e.g. Coca-Cola (Not included)
200g citric acid powder, 200g baking soda. (Not included)
Separately paste AB bottle labels. Close the on/off valve.
Cut the funnel and fill the test tube with citric acid.

Bottle A
Pour the remaining citric acid powder into the bottle A
Mix with 600ml water and shake until dissolved.

Bottle B
200g baking soda.
Mix with 200ml water.
Open the test tube and drop it into bottle B.

Then screw cap A onto bottle A. Screw cap B onto bottle B.
Shake bottle B for about 5 minutes. During this process you can see bottle A bubbling.
When the pressure reaches 1kg/cm² (15psi), it is ready for use.
Keep the acid-absorbing ball underwater at about 1cm.
Connect the micro-adjustable valve, tubing, check valve and the diffuser. Now you can open the on/off valve and micro-adjustable valve to introduce CO2 into your tank.
